Under-Secretary General for Applications and Communications - Naushad Velgy
Dear all,
Allow me to welcome you to the London Metropolitan University International Model United Nations 2012 conference. My name is Naushad Velgy, your Communications and Applications officer. Please feel free to call me Shad. A little about me: I'm studying Medical Engineering (in a different University), currently looking at advancing to the 3rd Year of the course. Outside METiMUN, I participate in other societies, attaining recently the positions of Secretary for Queen Mary Model United Nations society, Communications officer for the Queen Mary Engineers Without Borders society and Treasurer for the Queen Mary St. John Ambulance division. What I personally envisage for METiMUN: With the great team we have this year, and, by induction, the greater number of ideas, it follows that I want, along the others, to make this year's conference memorable for Chairs, Delegates and the Secretariat alike. For Chairs and Delegates from London, to give them a different variety of Delegates and Delegations to get to know and direct, and for Chairs and Delegates from outside London (and, indeed from outside England) to give them a broader network of like-minded contemporaries and, perhaps, a different take into the social life of London.
Hoping to receive your applications soon!
